LateNightTales released a studio version of Röyksopp‘s cover of “Ice Machine” for the Record Store Day 2013 (April 20th) on a special edition red 10″ vinyl, limited to 1000 copies (500 for the RSD UK, plus 500 for the RSD Germany). OK, usually I wouldn’t list a “live-only” version here, but this one by Röyksopp is such a damn cool performance, I just can’t withhold it from you! The download version of this compilation also contains a 1:18:35 continuous mix and a digital booklet in pdf format. The limited edition 180 gram double vinyl album set features unmixed tracks and includes the mixed CD and a cover art print.
Running through my head secretly
The shouts of the boys in the factory
I ring you on the telephone silently
Like blood, like the wine, in the dark room see
The dark room see, dark room see
A letter
Once composed
Seven years long and as tall as a tree
Reading
On the wall
efficient, efficiency
Efficiency, efficiency
Resurrect
As a feeling
On my window
Of a past reunion
Resurrect as a feeling
On my window
Of a past reunion
Mission of a picture
Like the city and the air we breathe
The air we breathe, air we breathe
She stood beside me once again
I knew her face
We met before in the street
Recalling all the children dancing at our feet
Their dancing feet, dancing feet
